Cell Gun

Law enforcement and authorities at government buildings are being warned to be on the lookout for high-grade plastic guns disguised as cell phones that are difficult to spot in metal detectors, according to this Local 6 News report.

The cell phone gun is a working .22 caliber pistol capable of firing off four rounds at the touch of the button.

I guess it was just a matter of time before someone thought of this.

Do they fire when using them while driving?

My first response: Oh, that's horrible.

My second response: I'd LOVE to have one while playing Splinter Cell.

I guess they can hear you now when you're carrying one of those.

How on earth does the recoil on this thing get dispersed? It looks like it'd blow your hand off.

nanc: gunshow or cell phone store ;-)

birdwoman: I have no idea. It does look like there'd be some killer recoil, doesn't it. It's definitely not my kind of weapon.
