Lego Bridge

This Lego ST:TNG Enterprise-D Bridge was designed by Jonathan Markiewitz. Other views of the bridge and lots of other clever science fiction creations can be found at www.mocpages.com .

The detail is amazing.

I clicked on it to see a bigger image.
The image wasn't much larger, but I got a closer look.

That's both great skill and immense boredom. The time to make something so intricate...

My son loves legos and Bionicles...and he can do them for hours. Amazing stuff.

I applaud the work. It's very intricate.

Wow, that's really cool! My little ones love leggos too. My only gripe is when I step barefoot on the ones dropped that blend with the carpet color.

Ooh, that looks like a lot of fun!

Think of the real life applications! People wouldn't need restraint devices to keep from flying around the bridge during a battle now. We can just snap their butts into the chairs.

It's the future, I can tell.

sar: LOL! Nothing hurts more than a lego on the tender foot.

jem: OMG I think you're on to something. Of course we'll have to have humans cloned with Lego pieces in order to conform to the Lego scheme.... Ummm, maybe gravitic compemsators would be easier to develop. Just a thought.

Damn my presbyopia! wasn't wearing my glasses when I responded to the above! Squinting only helps so much...

I just didn´t get it at first. I thought, I could lego that, what is so special about it. Then I realized the background and the fact that this might be Enterprize related :) I am sorry, not that much of a geek :)

Sure the gravimetric compensators would be easier to develop, but they wouldn't really work in other situations requiring restraint. Think of the possibilities!

We could also breed lego-compatible horses, so that people will be able to stay in the saddle easier. Not to mention how it would reduce fatalities in car accidents, I'm sure it would be much safer that airbags, and easier to manage than infant and booster seats.

And, once we're lego-compliant, we can use all the playsets. I've got my eye on a lego landspeeder, "These aren't the droids you're looking for."

jen: I can see you've given a lot of thought to this Lego-compatability theory of yours.
