Double rainbow over Baghdad

The news of the re-election of George W. Bush spread quickly through Iraq.

In contrast, several thousand Iraqis burned U.S. flags and Bush effigies marking the 25th anniversary of the storming of the U.S. embassy in Tehran & the taking of 52 hostages for 444 days...the legacy of Jimmy Carter.

It's unfortunate that the American voters didn't make Carter follow in the tradition of Stevenson, McGovern, Mondale, & Kerry.
